PMC Advanced #97: 天才少年

I went to see a dance performance this week that told me about Wang Ximeng.

He painted one of China’s most famous works when he was 18 years old. Then he died a few years later. One painting, that’s all he left behind.

This lesson is about what I saw and the story behind it. You’ll practice the passive voice with 被, the result complement 出, and 才 for emphasizing surprisingly small numbers. Plus vocabulary for art and those feelings that are hard to put into words.
